Platform: SapiensPaw Platform

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SapiensPaw Platform, including its mobile applications, web portals, dashboards, software systems, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
The Platform is owned and operated by SapiensVet Pvt. Ltd., and branded as SapiensPaw™ (“Company”, “SapiensPaw”, “We”, “Us”).
By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you (“User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
3.1 The Platform is a technology and data management system designed to assist Public Authorities and associated stakeholders in:
3.2 The Platform is a decision-support and record-management system only. It does not perform veterinary procedures, replace statutory authority decisions, or guarantee medical or operational outcomes.
4.1 Access is limited to authorized Government Officials, approved NGOs, registered Veterinary Professionals, verified Caregivers/Feeders, and authorized Company Personnel.
4.2 Users are responsible for the accuracy of data entered, compliance with SOPs, safeguarding login credentials, and all activity performed under their account.
5.1 Biometric identification accuracy depends on compliance with prescribed SOPs, image quality, lighting, environmental conditions, and field handling practices.
5.2 While the Platform is designed for high accuracy, 100% accuracy in all field conditions cannot be guaranteed.
5.3 SapiensPaw shall not be liable for misidentification caused by poor data capture, incomplete submissions, or field conditions beyond system control.
6.1 All data generated under public programmes remains the property and under the control of the relevant Public Authority.
6.2 SapiensPaw acts solely as a technology service provider and a data processor, as per applicable law.
6.3 SapiensPaw does not claim ownership over public programme data.
7.1 SapiensPaw may use anonymized and aggregated data for system improvement, AI model refinement, performance optimization, and service quality enhancement.
7.2 Such usage will not identify individual animals or persons, will not involve commercial resale of data, and will comply with applicable laws.
8.1 Data is hosted on India-based, Government-approved or MeitY-compliant cloud infrastructure.
8.2 Reasonable security safeguards are implemented, including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and backup recovery.
8.3 SapiensPaw is not liable for breaches arising from user negligence, third-party actions beyond control, or force majeure events.
9.1 No data shall be shared with any third party without written approval of the concerned Public Authority and written concurrence of SapiensPaw.
9.2 Disclosure may occur if required by law, court order, or statutory authority.
The Platform operates in alignment with the IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, CERT-In Guidelines, Government Cloud Policy (MeghRaj), and relevant animal welfare rules.
11.1 All software, algorithms, AI models, trademarks, logos, and platform architecture are the exclusive intellectual property of SapiensVet Pvt. Ltd.
11.2 Users may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.
The Platform may rely on third-party services such as cloud infrastructure, mapping, and notifications. SapiensPaw is not responsible for outages attributable to such services.
13.1 SapiensPaw shall not be liable for field operational errors, medical outcomes, authority policy decisions, or data entry errors.
13.2 The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Users agree to indemnify SapiensPaw from claims arising from misuse, violation of laws/SOPs, or incorrect data entry.
SapiensPaw may suspend access for terms violations, misuse, or as required by law. Termination does not affect Public Authority data ownership.
SapiensPaw shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, system outages, regulatory actions, or network failures.
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
