Dr. Ajit Pokharkar is the Founder & CEO of SapiensVet Pvt. Ltd. and the visionary behind SapiensPaw. A Gold Medalist Veterinarian, he combines expertise in veterinary science, public service, and emerging technologies to create intelligent solutions for urban animal welfare.

Before founding SapiensVet, Dr. Pokharkar served as a Veterinary Officer with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM/BMC), where he worked extensively in Street Companion healthcare, Animal Birth Control (ABC) programmes, rabies prevention, animal welfare, and municipal veterinary services. He also served as a Livestock Development Officer with the Government of Maharashtra, gaining valuable experience in public veterinary administration and One Health initiatives.

Inspired by years of field experience, he founded SapiensPaw to build a lifelong digital identity for every Street Companion. By integrating Artificial Intelligence, Biometric Identification, Blockchain, and Veterinary Intelligence, he is helping cities create a more humane, transparent, and data-driven ecosystem for Street Companion identification, healthcare, population management, and public health.

A highly skilled veterinarian specializing in advanced small-animal surgery, Dr. Amol brings over a decade of clinical expertise and research excellence. With a PhD in Veterinary Surgery, he leads SapiensPaw’s medical standards, clinical protocols, and innovation in street companion health technologies. His commitment ensures every product and service is rooted in science, compassion, and real veterinary need.

A lifelong animal lover and dedicated caregiver, she brings empathy, hands-on experience, and a strong passion for improving the lives of street companions. Her vision shapes SapiensPaw’s mission of humane care, and accessible wellness for every animal. She represents the heart of the organisation ensuring compassion leads every decision.

Dr. Girish Patil is a veterinary scientist with 14+ years of experience in clinical practice, research, and academic teaching. Holding a Master’s in Veterinary Pathology and a PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences, he provides global scientific leadership at SapiensPaw, ensuring all street companion health and biometric technologies meet internationally recognized standards.

Gaurav Dnyanoba Somwanshi is the Co-Founder & CEO of EmerTech Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a deep-tech company incubated at IIT Bombay and IIM Lucknow. He leads the development of scalable AI and blockchain platforms for traceability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable supply chains, with deployments across agriculture, textiles, rubber, and manufacturing. An engineer and IIM Lucknow alumnus, Gaurav is a British Council Future Leader and Dalai Lama Fellow. His work has been showcased at global forums including the UK Parliament and to the Prime Minister of India, and he currently serves as Chairman of the Research & Innovation Committee at MACCIA.

Vaibhav Shelke builds technology that tackles foundational problems for large industries. As Founder & CEO of Vectrio Innovations Pvt. Ltd., he leads the development of SimplyParse and LLMStack—platforms that help enterprises automate document processing and deploy AI applications without extensive engineering overhead. With a prior startup exit and experience delivering solutions across agriculture, healthcare, and manufacturing, he combines hands-on technical depth with a pragmatic approach to scaling products.

Emertech Innovations was founded to harness emerging technologies and solve real-world challenges. Using blockchain, AI, ZKP, IoT, and cybersecurity, they're building a future defined by transparency, efficiency, and sustainability.

Vectrio Innovations builds AI/ML and custom software solutions focused on computer vision, document processing, and intelligent automation. They create scalable systems across IoT, machine learning, and API development to solve real-world industry challenges.
